X Chat is X’s upgraded version of X’s existing DM (direct messages) feature, which the company claims is end-to-end encrypted. A different way to accomplish this is to use zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs. A ZK proof allows me to prove that I know some secret value that satisfies various constraints.
